AFJ, ACS, and HNBA are hosting a Pathways to the Bench panel on Thursday, September 24 at 12:00 PM ET / 9:00 AM PT. Four Hispanic judges at four levels of the American judiciary sharing how they got there and what folks who want to follow in their footsteps need to know:

• Justice Maria Elena Cruz, Arizona Supreme Court (first woman of color on Arizona's highest court)
• Judge Nancy Maldonado, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (first Hispanic judge ever on the Seventh Circuit)
• Judge Linda Lopez, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California (former federal public defender and former magistrate judge)

• Judge Lisa Cisneros, U.S. Magistrate Judge, Northern District of California (pioneered a legal program for LGBTQ farmworkers in rural California)

Moderated by Carmen Iguina González, ACLU National Prison Project (former Sotomayor clerk, Biden nominee to the DC Court of Appeals).
