Angela J. Davis, CWL President-elect, once again moderated a very successful CWL "roadshow" in partnership with Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County and the Santa Cruz County Bar Association.
Panel members Irwin Joseph, Santa Cruz County Commissioner and Judge Pro Tem, and Adrienne Grover, Monterey County Superior Court judge, discussed issues ranging from gender bias in jury selection to improper appeals to gender bias in argument, sexual harassment and discrimination based upon stereotypes, all depicted in the humorous movie clips presented in the CWL "Gender Bias - Lessons from the Silver Screen" program before approximately 43 attendees in Santa Cruz.
The program was organized and arranged by WLSCC members CWL Affiliate Governor Myrna Britton, Joyce Nordstrom, Donna Becker, Judy Alexander, Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County President, and Adrienne Stein.
