Women Lawyers of Sacramento Holds No Glass Ceiling Event

On August 24, 2005 a reception was held at the Livingston & Mattesich law firm to coordinate a task force committee for the No Glass Ceiling movement in Sacramento. CWL Past President and Life Member Angela Bradstreet, who pioneered the glass ceiling initiative, spoke to the group, composed of managing partners from large Sacramento law firms, corporate counsels, the dean of Pacific McGeorge University, a professor from King Hall, UC Davis, judges and top attorneys for the state. The group then held a roundtable discussion about what the No Glass Ceiling movement would entail in Sacramento. It was a successful event that Women Lawyers of Sacramento helped sponsor.
